        Earlier I said that similar segments can join hands together to give you a pattern. Suppose I have a bottle with several colors, the different colors are segmented, but how does our brain come to know that the colors are from the single object. Bottle is a single object because it is continuous, I mean focus remains the same over the entire bottle or changes continuously, to say that there is no switching in the depth over the surface of the bottle.
